A bit of a trek to this beach some steep sections so not generally busy

Near Tintagel - a sandy and rocky composition 3.0 miles away. The head of Trebarwith Strand Beach is made up of flat rocks and is about all you can see at high tide but as the tide goes out the sand appears. There is a car park, toilets and cafe at the head of the beach

The Cove is deep set with high cliffs giving it good shelter. Virtually no beach at high tide otherwise a good sandy beach and not too busy.

- This cycle and walking trail runs to and from Padstow and Bodmin via Wadebridge and the nearest part of the trail is approximately 7.8 miles from this property. the trail is just over 17 Miles long from sea level at Padstow initially following the Camel Estury rising to 59 metres (194 feet) by the time it reaches Bodmin. The trail is well maintained suitable for disabled persons which for the majority follows the route of two disused railway track so the gradient is not noticable. There are cycle hire shops at all 3 main locations with a range and design to suit everyone.
