This very comfortably furnished and well-equipped single-storey property stands on its own, in a pretty and private garden, at the northern approach to the Lake District, with superb open views of rolling countryside from its principal rooms. Set in the small village of Tirril, which boasts an excellent inn with high quality food, the cottage is a good base for hill walkers, with both the Pennines and the Cumbrian Fells less than half an hour's drive. Elegant Victorian steamers plough the waters of attractive and unspoilt Lake Ullswater (2 miles). Penrith 3 miles. Riding 50 yards. Shop 2 miles.
