Garries Cottage near Bassenthwaite is a charming 3 start accredited cottage in a peaceful area just over a mile away from the small village of Bassenthwaite village where you will find pub for an evening out locally. The accommodation is attached though with its on access to the owners 17th century cottage next door and sleeps 4 people plus a young baby over 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on the 1st floor. The ground floor contains a lounge / kitchen / diner which looks out to the garden. The property is a traditional cottage with oak beams and an open fire, an abundance of wildlife nearby including red squirrels. From the property there are numerous walks available, either down to lake Bassenthwaite or into the hills with Skiddaw achievable in a good days walk
Facilities include electic, and initial supply of coal, Bed Linen, cot, WiFi and car parking.
