Near Seahouses - a sandy composition 0.7 miles away. A good sandy beach backed by sand dunes and with the Annstead Dunes Nature Reserve to the south of the beach. Offshore there are rocks at low tide with rock pools though still plenty of sand to enjoy the beach. Unfortunately no parking though though you can walk from Seahouses.
Seahouses North Beach
Near Seahouses - a sandy composition 0.9 miles away. A long sandy gently sloping (and shallow) beach, North of Seahouses and backed by St Aidans Dunes where you will see abundant wildlife and even Exmoor Ponies. The beach is good for bathing, swimming, surfing and fishing. Parking to the south of the beach near Seahouses
Beadnell Bay Beach
Near Beadnell - a sandy composition 2.3 miles away. Located south of Seahouses, the small village of Beadnell sits on the northern end of the horseshoe shaped Beadnell Bay, a lovely wide bay on the Northumberland Coast AONB. The bay offers shelpter for pleasure craft as well as having a lovely sandy base. Parking at the north and south ends of the bay.
Bamburgh Beach
Near Seahouses - a sandy composition 3.0 miles away. A good golden sandy beach on the Northumbrian coast with the Imposing Bamburgh Castle overlooking the beach. The beach itself is backed by low sand dunes and parking is close to the beach at the northern end.
Low Newton-by-the-Sea Beach
Near Alnwick - a sandy and rocky composition 4.9 miles away. Low Newton-by-the-Sea Beach also referred to as Newton Haven Beach is a good wide sandy beach backed by low to mid sized sand dunes. There are rocky outcrops either side of the beach but predominately it is sand though the rock pools are a popular attractions.
