This welcoming, cosy, modern cottage adjoining the owner's home is an ideal holiday base for couples exploring the spectacular northern Lake District. It is quietly situated in the picturesque village of Thornthwaite on the slopes of Winlatter Forest, which is renowned for its mountain biking tracks and lovely forest trails. It is surrounded by stunning scenery and lies 3 miles to the west of the popular market town of Keswick, where you will find a wealth of tourist attractions and amenities. The village stands 1 mile from Bassenthwaite Lake, great for water sports and fishing. Bike storage available. Shop, pub and restaurant 2 miles.
