Enjoying fine views of Lake Windermere and beyond, standing in a row of three, these light, airy, comfortable houses each with their own balcony looking out towards the lakes and fells. Ideal for anyone wishing to explore the lakes, almost every point of the compass offers a new sight. Travel north to Ambleside, Grasmere, or even Ullswater (via Kirkstone Path, the highest road in the Lake District at 1489ft), east to Coniston and the Furness Fells beyond, or south to Newby Bridge and Fell Foot Park (NT). All local amenities, including shops, pubs, restaurants, a cinema, equestrian centre, and boat trips from the bay, are close at hand, 100 yards, and the lake is within a 15 minute walk. Take the ferry across the lake to Sawrey and visit Hill Top (NT), Hawkshead and Coniston. Bowness makes an ideal starting point for touring.
