It is a short walk from a good selection of shops, pubs, and cafés, and is a superb spot for outdoor pursuit enthusiasts, being close to the Ogwen Valley, within easy walking distance of the Carneddau range, and a stone’s throw from North Wales’ most exciting attraction – Zip World High Velocity – the longest, fastest zip line in the Northern Hemisphere. It is also within easy driving distance from Llanberis, the village at the foot of Mount Snowdon, with its famous mountain railway; the university town of Bangor, with Penrhyn Castle (NT); Caernarfon and Conwy with their magnificent castles; and the Isle of Anglesey, with its 125 miles of coastline. Beach 7 miles. Shop and pub ¼ mile.
