A good area of shingle beach whit some sand at low tide, however there is a bit of a slope on the beach which continues into the sea and therefore you can get in deep water quickly. Good Views east of the golden coloured cliffs of East Cliff suddenly rising to 40 metres plus.
West Bay West Beach
Near Bridport - a sandy shingle and pebble composition 1.8 miles away. Located west of the harbour wall a more shelterd position and a safer place for children to play as opposed to the nearby East Beach. The beach is tiered so not so steep. with some sand at low tide
Eype Mouth Beach
Near Bridport - a sandy and shingle composition 2.7 miles away. Eype sits near a natural valley down to the sea with cliffs either side and there is a path and steps down to the mainly shingle beach with some sand. Parking is on the cliff top otherwise very few facilitoies
